Facebook advertising is a HUGE opportunity right now. If you follow Gary Vee, you’ve probably heard him talk about it quite a bit. Suffice it to say, he’s a fan. 🙂
And that comes as no surprise. We’ve definitely seen an uptick in our clients’ revenue since running a few campaigns for ’em. Maybe you’ve toyed with the idea, but you’re not sure where to start or how to ensure you don’t waste massive marketing dollars on the effort…
We’ve been there, so we’d like to help. If you decide to give Facebook ads a try, here are some tips to ensure success:
Tip #1: Dial in.
We are all about helping you hit your digital target. Knowing who your target audience is, knowing their pain points and what keeps them up at night will ensure that you get in front of the people who need you most. This aspect of marketing is on the front burner, and that’s why we put it in our name. ‘Your online presence, on point.’ This motto illustrates the importance of honing in on exactly who your audience is before you do anything else.
Tip #2: Stand out.
As Seth Godin puts it, “Fitting in is a short-term strategy, standing out pays off in the long-run.” I’m not sure if you’ve noticed by now, but we tend to stand out from other local SEO companies. We create custom-tailored content that is sure to set you apart from your competitors in the best way possible.
Tip #3: Tell a story.
Great ad copy is less about shameless self-promotion and more about telling your story in a unique and creative way that is going to captivate your audience and initiate engagement. You want to grab the attention of your target market and pull them into your ad and into the conversation.
Tip #4: Be authentic.
Be real with your content and use headshot images instead of company logos. People tend to connect more with a person than they do with a business. You want your ad to appear like a natural post rather than an advertisement. Doing so will expand your reach and increase your engagement.
Tip #5: Educate your audience.
Make sure you are providing valuable information to your audience and seeking to educate them. This will help you build trust and distinguish you as an expert in your field.
Of course this is what’s working now, at the time of writing this post. But as you may be aware, Facebook advertising is always changing. It’s important to stay on top of the trends, or if you don’t have time for that, hire someone who will.
Yes, that was a shameless self-plug, but we just gave you lots of great info, so it’s only fair, right? 😉
